Tanacetum parthenium
Feverfew is a decorative, feathery leafed plant that grows to 60 cm
and has citrus scented foliage and small daisy like flowers. It has been
used for Traditional Herbal Medicinal uses to treat migraines, arthritis
and to reduce fevers and digestive problems.
It is a perennial herb which should be planted in full sun about 20-40 cm apart.
It is fairly hardy and should be cut back to the ground in autumn.
Sow the seed in early spring by pressing the seed firmly into a fine seed-raising
mixture and keep moist until large enough to prick them out into individual
pots and later plant out into the garden.
