This is a bronze red version of Green Salad Bowl. It is similar to Red Oakleaf with the same deeply lobed oak-like leaves and good heat tolerance. It holds its mild, non-bitter, salad quality for a long time. Red Salad bowl is popular with baby leaf growers and can be cut for baby leaves in 28 days. It reaches full size in 55 days. Lettuces like to be grown in mild conditions and do not like hot weather. They should be sown often to ensure a continuous supply.
