In warm zones you can sow seed in almost any month of the year, although mid-summer sowing are often avoided. Best months to sow in temperate zones are July through to March and in cold districts August to February. Deep sandy soil or heavy soils with good structure allow roots to grow and expand quickly. Direct Sow by marking out shallow furrows 20 - 30 cm apart and sow seed 6mm deep. Cover seed with vermiculite or seed raising mix. Water gently and keep moist.
