These amazing golf ball sized carrots are very early, maturing in 55-68 days from sowing. They are an old French Heirloom variety that is very uniform in size and shape. They are highly sought after by restaurants and gourmets for their unique delicously sweet flavour. They are excellent for growing in pots, styrene boxes and even on your kitchen bench. They do well in shallow soils and rocky soils. They sell well in Farmer's Markets. In warm zones seed can be sown at almost any period of the year, although mid-summer sowings are often avoided. Best months to sow in temperate zones are July through to March and in cold districts August to February. Deep sandy soil or heavy soils with good structure allow roots to grow and expand quickly. Direct Sow by marking out shallow furrows 20 - 30 cm apart and sow seed 6mm deep. Cover seed with vermiculite or seed raising mix. Water gently and
