China Rose is a Chinese winter radish that can be harvested from 25 to 55 days after sowing. The full sized roots are 50cm in diameter and up to 20cm long with a smooth rose-colored skin. The roots are slightly larger towards the tip. The tops are strong and tall. It is also a variety that used for sprouting so you can save your own seed and save money by collecting the ripened seed. Radishes are a great way to start young children off with gardening. They are very easy to grow, will grow in almost any conditions and mature at a very fast, exciting rate.
