COMMENTS..This large vigorous plant produces a moderate crop of medium to large oblate brownish fruit, usually with green shoulders. The fruit have a sweet rich flavour with a smoky edge, giving them a very good taste. Some minor cracking on fruit may occur in wet seasons, or after over watering. Suitable for greenhouse production. For optimum taste it is best picked when part green and firm. The seeds are surrounded by an almost fluorescent green gel which gives them a very interesting appearance when sliced.
