RADISH - PURPLE SANGO
RADISH - PURPLE SANGO
Raphanus sativum Sango radish sprouts and microgreens can be grown in a jar , a saucer, sieve, tray or basket. Soak the seeds for 4-8 hrs and then rinse them 2-3 times a day for the 4-7 days it takes for them to germinate. Eat them as sprouts when 2-5 cm long or as microgreens when they reach 7-10 cm high. They are a valuable source of vitamins high in Vit C and folic acid which is great for nerves and increasing blood flow to the skin. They are rich in phytochemicals and minerals sulphur and silicon.
