Vigna radiata

Mung beans are very easy to sprout. Soak 2-3 tablespoons of seed for 8-12 hours in hot water (not boiling). This will help a more even germination. They use a lot of water so be liberal with the water. Rinse 2-3 times a day and use the sprouts when they are 1-7 cm long. It takes 3-5 days for them to reach edible size.
