COMMENTS: This is a very well known variety which is the archetypical paste tomato. It is a very heavy cropper that needs some support and appears to be disease resistant, although it may get Blossom end rot in dry seasons if they have to deal with irregular watering. The fruit are all uniform, smooth skinned, with lovely meaty flesh. This variety is hard to beat and is a must grow for all beginners with tomatoes. They are easy to process and skinning is very simple: just run under hot water and peel. Their structure does not deteriorate after freezing.
