CRESS - WRINKLED CRINKLED
CRESS - WRINKLED CRINKLED
This cress variety has very wrinkled dark green
leaves that will grow to 30cm. The very fancy
ruffled leaves have sweet tangy flavour. The
leaves are held erect and this makes for easy
harvesting. It makes a great addition to any egg
dish and to soups, salads, and many traditional
European style dishes. Try it in stir-fries and be
amazed at how great they taste. Warm, moist
climates are ideal. In warm climates, grow mostly in
winter, in cooler zones grow through spring and
autumn. This cress prefers a moist soil but does not
need inundation at all. It is perrenial and tolerates
very cool conditions. It is great grown in a pot or tub
that can be kept moist.

European style dishes. Try it in stir-fries and be

climates are ideal. In warm climates, grow mostly in
winter, in cooler zones grow through spring and
autumn. This cress prefers a moist soil but does not
need inundation at all. It is perrenial and tolerates
very cool conditions. It is great grown in a pot or tub
that can be kept moist. Sow the seeds by placing them
on constantly damp seed raising mix with some lime
added and transplant to a permanent position
when the seedlings are approx 8cm tall. From
then on apply high nitrogen, soluble plant food
every two weeks from spring to late summer.
