RADISH - DAIKON, RED STEMMED
This amazing smooth white extremely large radish is an old Heirloom from Japan. It has large 4-7 cm diameter roots that can reach a length of nearly 30cm. The stems and root top have a rich red colour bursting with nutrition. The flesh is crispy and mild, with a sweet flavour perfect for salads, garnishes, or grating or pickling. The stems and leaves can also be eaten in salads and stirfries.
